Laura Waxmann, an education and community reporter with the San Francisco Examiner, has been hired by the San Francisco Business Times where she will be covering Bay Area housing, land use and development.
Previously, Waxmann was working as a staff reporter at Mission Loc@l. Before that, she was a freelance journalist for The Outsider News and also held the post of first associate editor and then English copy editor at El Tecolote.
She has also served as an intern and freelancer at CBS Corp.
Waxmann holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Francisco State University.
