San Fran Biz Times hires Truong as multimedia producer/reporter

Kevin Truong

San Francisco Business Times editor Patrick Chu sent out the following announcement:

To my staff:
Please welcome back the very versatile Kevin Truong, who did such a stellar job for us as a reporter intern that we had to find a place for him here. We’re honored to have him return to us as a full-time multimedia producer/reporter. Kevin and Visual Journalist Todd Johnson will work with all newsroom staff to help us increase our video content on our website, www.bizjournals.com/sanfrancisco/  He will also report and write two small business features every week, write breaking news hits and report on in-depth focus pieces.
I want to thank ACBJ’s director of corporate initiatives, Garry Howard in Charlotte, for finding and recruiting Kevin through the Dow Jones News Fund.
Kevin, as you may well know, is a recent UCLA economics graduate. He has worked at American Public Media’s Marketplace program, The Christian Science Monitor, NBCUniversal and the Santa Monica Daily Press.
