San Diego biz journal starts radio show

The San Diego Business Journal has struck a deal with San Diego 1700 AM to begin providing business news segments on the radio station, according to a short story Sunday.

Liz Wiedemann wrote, “Business Journal editors and reporters will sometimes join the radio station’s Program Director Mark Larson with occasional breaking business news reports and updates, said Business Journal Publisher Armon Mills.

“He said the Business Journal will also run weekly advertising and breaking news announcements for San Diego 1700, as well as feed business headlines from the Business Journal to the radio station’s Web site, sandiego1700.com.

“Mills said that the relationship, which starts this week, is a natural fit.

“‘I am excited to work together with Mark Larson and San Diego 1700 on a partnership that will provide more resources for us to get news to readers and listeners,’ Mills said.”
