Joshua Fechter, a business reporter at the San Antonio Express-News, is moving to the City Hall beat in July.
Fechter has been covering real estate, economic development and philanthropy. He previously covered retail and tourism for the business news desk, where he has worked since August 2014. He previously worked at the paper as an intern.
Fechter is a University of Texas graduate. In college, he worked as a reporter at the Daily Texan.
