San Antonio Biz Journal hires associate editor

Tricia Schwennesen

Veteran journalist Tricia Schwennesen has joined the San Antonio Business Journal as associate editor.

A story on its website states, “Schwennesen will oversee the production of Business Journal special sections and reports, as well as coordinate across the organization to ensure the quality of the content associated with Business Journal signature and news events.

“Schwennesen, a San Antonio native, comes to the Business Journal from Texas Public Radio, where she was a web producer and news editor. And her journalistic ties to San Antonio and South Texas go back several years, having been an assistant city editor and social media manager at the San Antonio Express-News and an assistant city editor at the Corpus Christi Caller-Times.

“‘We are excited about all that Tricia brings to our organization as a dedicated journalist who is committed to her city of San Antonio,’ Business Journal Editor Tony Quesada said.”
