She worked for Agoura Hills, California-based Acorn Newspapers, a five-paper community journalism company, for more than two years covering city government, politics and police. She has also completed internships at NPR and the BBC.
“Guzman earned a bachelor’s degree at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and a master’s degree in online journalism at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
“Sanchez is an award-winning photographer with experience working on photo assignments throughout North America for The New York Times, the Houston Chronicle, The Washington Post, Bloomberg News, Time and NASA.”
