Shick switches from Bloomberg Opinion to Businessweek

Stacey Shick

After more than nine years as editor at Bloomberg Opinion, Stacey Shick has joined the editing team at Bloomberg Businessweek.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Shick was an editorial producer at MLB.com. She also worked as a staff editor at The New York Times where she copy-edited articles, focusing on accuracy, style, grammar and resolving unanswered questions.

She also worked on breaking news, wrote headlines for the front page and NYTimes.com and edited articles for the weekly Science section among other tasks.

She has also worked at The Tampa Tribune for more than nine years, joining as a copy editor and then holding the post of team leader for news copy editing.

Shick holds a B.A. in journalism from American University.
