Scott Rodd, a reporter at the Sacramento Business Journal, has been hired by NPR affiliate Capital Public Radio to cover state government.
He starts next week.
“Excited to tackle a new medium, expand my coverage and work with the talented folks at the station,” wrote Rodd in Twitter.
Rodd has been at the Business Journal since June 2017 covering health and law in the greater Sacramento area.
He previously was a freelance reporter and photographer in the Washington, DC area, and his work was published in the Washington Post, Washington City Paper, Stateline, the New York Observer, Next City and Salon, among other publications.
He’s a graduate of Susquehanna University.
