Adam Steinhauer has been named the new editor of the Sacramento Business Journal, an American City Business Journals publication.
He replaces Jack Robinson, who moved to Philadelphia.
Sonya Sorich writes, “He joined the paper Thursday. Most recently, Steinhauer was senior editor of Growth Capital Investor, a newsletter and website about the financing market for emerging growth companies.
“‘I like Sacramento. It’s a city with a lot going for it,’ said Steinhauer, 46, a California native who relocated here from Novato.
“He’s familiar with the Sacramento region. Early in his career, Steinhauer covered agriculture, legal affairs and county government for Woodland’s Daily Democrat. He has a bachelor’s in journalism from San Jose State University.
“Steinhauer spent seven years at Bloomberg News, reporting on media and internet companies as well as on the hotel and casino industry. He also was a reporter at the Las Vegas Review Journal and Orange County Business Journal, among others.”
