Jacob Abbott has joined the Sacramento Business Journal as a reporter.
Recently, he was managing editor at the Appeal-Democrat. Abbott joined as a reporter, and since then has covered various beats, including local government, natural resources, agriculture, crime and courts, state legislation and homelessness.
He was also a trainee at NPR and Capital Public Radio.
Abbott has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from California State University-Sacramento, where he also worked at the student newspaper.
