SABEW extends Best in Business deadline one week

SABEW BIB The Society of American Business Editors and Writers has extended the deadline to enter its annual Best in Business contest by one week.

The deadline is now Tuesday, Feb. 7 at midnight EST.

The Best in Business features new such as including video, airlines/travel, media/entertainment and management/leadership/career. Click here to see all categories.

The contest has also become platform agnostic to recognize great business journalism and journalists no matter the medium.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
