SABEW elects three new board members

The Society of American Business Editors and Writers elected three new members to its board on Monday.

Those newly elected were Cliff Cumber, business editor of the Frederick News-Post in Maryland; Beth Hunt, manager of editorial operations at American City Business Journals; and Dave Morrow, editor of TheStreet.com.

Re-elected to the board were Gail MarksJarvis, a personal finance columnist with the Chicago Tribune; Ray Hennessey, director of business news for the Fox Business Network; and Dawn Wotapka, a reporter for Dow Jones Newswires.

In addition, Bernie Kohn, assistant managing editor of business at the Baltimore Sun, became president at the meeting.

Greg McCune, training editor for Reuters, became vice president. Rob Reuteman, business editor of the Rocky Mountain News, became treasurer. Kevin Noblet, former business editor for the Associated Press, became secretary.
