The Society of American Business Editors and Writers will be conducting an online auction beginning Thursday as part of its “Fund for the Future” drive.
The Fund for the Future is an annual campaign to raise funds for the 47-year-old membership organization. The goal is to improve services, training and other activities, Watson said.
The items include a week at a lake cottage in Maine, an autographed football from Hall-of-Famer Troy Aikman, lunches with business journalists such as Charles Gasparino of Fox Business Network, tickets to a National Hockey League game in New York, and tickets to Major League baseball games in New York and Los Angeles.
Also offered are registration and hotel packages to the annual SABEW spring conference in Dallas in April 2011.
The bidding begins Thursday at www.sabew.org. After Friday, you can go to www.ebay.com to bid for the merchandise. The auction will extend until Sept. 16 .
