SABEW annual conference starts Sunday

The Society of American Business Editors and Writers annual conference will be held in Baltimore during the next three days, and Talking Biz News will be there to provide coverage.

Among the sessions that will be covered will be talks from Floyd Norris of The New York Times and Steve Pearlstein of The Washington Post, who won a Pulitzer Prize earlier this month.

In addition, there’s a session for business sections that have lost — or are in danger of losing — their standalone sections and what they can do to compensate. And there’s a session where business reporters and editors will be getting together to share great ideas from their online sites.

Look for coverage beginning Sunday. And if you’re attending the SABEW conference, please say hello.
