Beckwith has been with Time since October, 2014. In his position as senior editor, he was responsible for overseeing day-to-day coverage of national political news, including the 2016 election. He was responsible for managing a team of reporters, editing stories for online and print, writing news articles and writing and narrating online videos.
He is also an adjunct lecturer at Georgetown University where he has taught the fundamentals of reporting and news writing for the master’s program in journalism.
He was voted “most entertaining instructor” by students twice.
