Rubio departing Houston Chronicle for PitchBook News

Jordan Rubio

Jordan Rubio, a data journalist at Houston Chronicle, will be leaving his post to join PitchBook News, which covers private equity and venture capital.

His last day at the Chronicle will be July 2.

Rubio was also a digital journalist at Advocate Digital Media and was a fellow at News21. He was also an executive editor at TCU 360 and a metro intern at San Antonio Express-News.

Rubio holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Texas Christian University.
