Aleksandrs Rozens has left Bloomberg LP where he was an editor in its Bloomberg Brief team.
He has joined Fannie Mae’s external communications and media team as a communications and marketing manager.
Rozens was founder and editor of the award-winning Bloomberg Brief real estate supplement and he co-founded the Bloomberg bankruptcy newsletter. Rozens also helped create the Bloomberg business bankruptcy index.
Rozens started at Bloomberg in April 2011. He has spoken on Bloomberg radio and television on issues related to bankruptcy and real estate finance.
Previously, Rozens was editor in chief of Investment Dealer’s Digest and wrote about real estate for the Associated Press.
He was a correspondent for Reuters for eight years where he wrote about commercial and residential real estate finance.
He has also worked for Dow Jones Capital Markets Report, started housing finance coverage at Knight Ridder and was a reporter for National Mortgage News.
