Route Fifty hires Vock to cover transportation and infrastructure

Daniel Vock

Daniel Vock has joined Route Fifty in Washington D.C. as a senior reporter primarily covering the transportation and infrastructure beat.

He will also write Route Fifty´s new Infrastructure Update newsletter.

He will also cover state legislatures and politics.

Recently, he was working freelance, contributing to Politico, Crain’s Chicago Business, Mother Jones, CQ Researcher, Route Fifty, Education Dive, Planning Magazine, States Newsroom, NPR Illinois and Wired Transportation.

He has also reported for Governing Magazine in D.C. and has served as statehouse bureau chief at Chicago daily Law Bulletin.

Vock has a B.A. from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a M.A. from University of Illinois-Springfield.
