Jim Rosica, news director at the Tallahassee Democrat, will be leaving later this month to join City & State Florida, a new sibling online publication to News Service Florida, as its inaugural editor-in-chief.
Rosica joined the Democrat in 1997, after working for weeklies and dailies in Philadelphia and Florida. He has covered City Hall and courts and has previously worked part-time for public-interest law firms.
Additionally, he has worked at the Associated Press, Florida Politics and the now-defunct Tampa Tribune.
