Rosenblum, NYT real estate reporter, is retiring

Constance Rosenblum, a reporter in the real estate section, is leaving The New York Times on Friday, July 25.
Here is a note from real estate editor Bill Goss:
Since joining The Times in 1984 as a backfield editor in the Travel section, Connie has been deputy editor of the Arts and Leisure section, editor of the Arts and Leisure section (for eight years), editor of the City section (for a decade), and most recently a reporter in the Real Estate section, where for several years she wrote the Habitats column. She also wrote many articles about the complex relationship between New Yorkers and their real estate.
During her time at the paper, she wrote a history of the Grand Concourse in the Bronx, called “Boulevard of Dreams,” and edited two collections of essays from the City section, “New York Stories” and “More New York Stories.” A collection of her Habitats columns was published last year under the title “Habitats: Private Lives in the Big City.” Upon leaving The Times Connie will be teaching and editing books.
She will be missed.
