BLOOMBERG PURSUITS MAGAZINE - The End Of Chocloate cover (Holiday 2014 issue)Emma Rosenblum has been promoted to the editor of Bloomberg Pursuits magazine.

Rosenblum will report to Bloomberg Media’s chief content officer Josh Tyrangiel.

Rosenblum moves up from her position as editor of Bloomberg Businessweek’s Etc. section, the publication’s mini lifestyle magazine-within-a-magazine covering work life, fashion, travel, food, sports, and culture. She began her editorship in September 2012 and redesigned the focus and look of Etc. in May 2013.

Rosenblum was previously at Glamour magazine for two years: first as articles editor, and then senior editor, launching the “Obsessed” section and overseeing cover stories and pop culture.

Prior to Glamour, Rosenblum spent six years at New York magazine, rising from editorial assistant to associate editor. She wrote regularly for the Culture section, edited the Look Book page, and co-edited the famous Approval Matrix.

“Emma’s a terrific journalist and editor who also happens to have great taste,” says Tyrangiel in a statement. “She’s the perfect person to bring new energy and ideas to Pursuits. I can’t wait for her to tell our readers what to wear, where to go and what to buy.”

“My aim is to make Pursuits bright and fun,” says Rosenblum in a statement. “We will be covering luxury in a way that feels younger and more modern. That means poppy visuals, cooler content, and a lightness of tone that will appeal to both men and women.”

The quarterly Bloomberg Pursuits is distributed to all 375,000 Bloomberg Markets subscribers.
