Robertson reports that Rogers wants to sell eight of its magazines as a package deal, not separately. Rogers has hired the investment-banking arm of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce to manage the sale.
In 2016, personal finance magazine MoneySense and its business magazine Canadian Business became online-only publications.
MoneySense started in 1999 while Canadian Business has been around since 1927, starting as The Commerce of the Nation. It was renamed in 1933. Rogers acquired the magazine in 1994.
When printed, Canadian Business had 85,000 subscribers.
