Ro departs Yahoo Finance for Axios

Sam Ro

Sam Ro, managing editor, Yahoo Finance is leaving his post after more than 5 years to join Axios where he will be writing the Markets newsletter.

Ro has also served as deputy editor at Business Insider where he led coverage of global markets covering stocks, bonds, commodities, currencies, derivatives, economics and more.

He has also provided analysis and opinions on the economy, equities, bonds, currencies, commodities, IPOs, and M&A deals in a freelance capacity for forbes.com, dealbreaker.com, thefiscaltimes.com, businessinsider.com and seekingalpha.com.

He was also a senior equity analyst at Forbes Investors Advisory Institute.

Ro is a graduate of Boston University.
