Revisiting the Bloomberg TV/Radio layoffs

Jerry Barmash, who was one of the 100 journalists laid off at Bloomberg Television and Bloomberg Radio two years ago, revisits the decision to cut those jobs and catches back up with some of the workers who lost their jobs.

Writing for FishbowlNY, Barmash notes, “Dozens were let go, but there were a select few that would find their voice again, working in New York radio and on the national scene. “For Roslyn Barreaux, a news veteran for decades in New York, the timing of the layoffs (and her new marriage) made the decision for her.
