Jamie McGeever is now a markets columnist at Reuters in the United States.
Recently, he was covering the Brazilian economy as a senior economics correspondent.
McGeever has been with Reuters for over 17 years, holding several posts, including senior reportercovering global currency markets, U.S. economics and policymakers, editor and presenter, chief markets correspondent for EMEA and columnist, financial markets.
He has also led global FX and European fixed income and rates coverage out of London for Reuters.
Prior to joining Reuters, McGeever was with Dow Jones Newswires where he has focused on Brazil’s financial and energy markets. He has also covered commodities and reported on Spain’s economy and financial and energy markets.
During his time at Dow Jones, he also covered global currency markets, U.S. economics and policymakers.
