Reuters taps Irrera as chief correspondent for fintech

Anna Irrera

Anna Irrera is the new chief correspondent for fintech at Reuters and has moved to the London office from the New York office.

Irrera has been with Reuters for more than three years, joining as a fintech correspondent covering the financial technology sector and technology related developments at some of the world’s largest financial institutions.

She has also served as fintech correspondent and financial companies team leader at the organization.

Prior to joining Reuters, Irrera was with Financial News, Dow Jones. There, she first served as an online reporter writing news, analysis and features for Financial News on investment banking, capital markets, trading and technology, asset management and private equity. Later on, she held the post of trading and technology reporter.

Additionally, she has also served as an editorial intern at both Reuters and Class Editori.

Irrera is a J.D. in law from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She also holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University – Graduate School of Journalism.
