Reuters health care policy reporter Yasmeen Abutaleb has been hired by the Washington Post to cover the same beat.
“I have absolutely loved my time at Reuters but am very excited for this next chapter,” she wrote on Twitter.
Abutaleb has been covering health care policy since February 2017, reporting on the effort to dismantle Obamacare and the impact of the health care debate on people and industry.
She previously covered technology for Reuters in San Francisco.
Abutaleb is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where she was editor in chief of The Diamondback.
