Reuters has hired Politico reporter Ted Hesson to cover immigration from its Washington bureau.
He will start next week.
“I’m looking forward to collaborating with their stellar team of journalists in D.C., the U.S. and around the world,” wrote Hesson on Twitter.
Hesson has been with Politico since October 2016, covering employment and immigration. He regularly broke news about immigration policy and Homeland Security Department operations.
He was also the immigration editor at Fusion and worked at The National Journal and Vice as a freelance writer.
