Reuters hires Kelly to cover fuel markets

Stephanie Kelly

David Gaffen, the U.S. energy editor at Reuters, sent out the following announcement:

I am delighted to announce that Stephanie Kelly will be joining the New York energy team to cover fuel markets. Stephanie comes over from the public finance team, where as a graduate trainee she has covered municipal bonds, public pensions and state fiscal woes. She has also worked on forex and global markets, and covered the Fed.

Stephanie graduated in 2017 from Northwestern University in Illinois, and interned with the Reuters muni team in New York during her studies. She has also worked at an investigative news agency in Cape Town, South Africa, and a daily paper in Dubuque, Iowa.

Hailing from the Chicago area, Stephanie is an avid fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and a staunch fan of deep-dish pizza. She is training to run a marathon this fall and likes to backpack and camp in U.S. national parks.

Stephanie starts on March 5 and will report to me.

Welcome, Stephanie!

Best regards,
David Gaffen
