Paresh Dave, a technology reporter for the Los Angeles Times, has been hired by Reuters to cover Google.
Dave will also be covering YouTube, Waymo and the rest of the Alphabet family.
He spent four and a half years at the Times, where he last covered technology, including Silicon Beach, with an emphasis on the convergence of the technology and entertainment industries. He previously covered cybersecurity, sports business, breaking U.S. news and the Los Angeles criminal courts.
Before the Times, he worked at Neon Tommy and interned at “Marketplace” in Los Angeles.
Dave is a University of Southern California graduate.
