Collin Eaton, a former oil markets correspondent at Reuters, has joined the Wall Street Journal as an energy reporter in Houston.
There, he will primarily be covering the U.S.
Before joining Reuters in 2018, Eaton was working as an energy reporter for the Houston Chronicle. He has also held the posts of a banking and finance reporter and finance and policy intern for the Houston Business Journal and The Chronicle of Higher Education, respectively.
Additionally, he worked as a business news intern at The Dallas Morning News and as a metro intern at Austin American-Statesman.
Eaton earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.
