On August 17, we wrote to you to let you know we were extending the date we expect to return to hybrid working in the U.S. to October 1 and committed to providing you an update as circumstances evolve.
Based on current conditions in the U.S., including information and guidance from the CDC, we are now extending the date we expect to return to hybrid working to January 3, 2022. This is intended to give you certainty through the rest of the year.
Our U.S. offices will remain open for those colleagues who can and wish to work in an office environment. You should make the decision that is best for your circumstances.
Thank you for your ongoing flexibility. We look forward to being able to welcome colleagues back into the office. In the meantime, please continue to have regular check-ins with your manager to discuss your working arrangements.
Wearing Masks
As a reminder to those of you who wish to work from the office, you will be required to wear a mask in common areas and when not able to socially distance from others. This is in line with CDC guidance.Vaccines
As you are aware on September 9, 2021, President Biden announced new vaccine requirements for U.S. employers. We are in the process of evaluating the applicable Executive Orders or federal rules for employers of our size and how to implement the requirements, and will communicate updates to our vaccination policy soon to comply. In the meantime, we continue to encourage all colleagues to be vaccinated as it is the most effective protection against COVID-19. As we remain committed to our plan for our return to hybrid working in the office, we will always follow local health and safety guidelines and, when on-site, strictly adhere to safety protocols.
