Lisa Richwine, a reporter in the Washington bureau of Reuters, has moved to the wire service’s Los Angeles bureau, where she started Tuesday.
Richwine, an Ohio University graduate, previously covered health and medicine from the DC bureau, as well as science, business and politics.
In an e-mail, Washington bureau chief Mary Milliken wrote, “Lisa brings to LA an impressive track record of breaking news and source-building that will serve her well in cracking one of the toughest companies to cover – Disney. Needless to say, the West Coast’s gain is Washington’s loss. We know Lisa will be missed in DC after more than 15 years in this bureau. But you might miss her less when she starts telling you how wonderful the weather is….
