Reuters correspondent Balan set to depart

Akshay Balan, a correspondent at the Reuters Bangalore bureau, is leaving the organization to focus on some academic things.

Prior to joining Reuters in 2018, Balan was serving as a fellow at Milaap. Before that, he was working as a content intern at Campus Diaries.

Balan has a bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism and related programs from Kristhu Jayanthi College, K. Narayanapura, Kottanoor Post, K.R. Puram, Bangalore-77.
