Reuters appoints Li as its new China tech correspondent

Pei Li

Pei Li will be taking on the role of China technology correspondent at Reuters covering Tencent and China’s Silicon Valley Shenzhen.

Previously, he held the post of China consumer correspondent at the news organization covering entertainment, sports and media.

Before joining Reuters in 2017, Li was a reporter at Dow Jones covering China’s economy. He also held the post of researcher at Sveriges Radio and served as a reporter at Cronkite News Service where he covered immigration reform, politics and social issues in D.C.

Li holds a master’s degree in business journalism from Arizona State University.
