Reuters adds new sections to its website

Reuters has introduced a series of new editorial sections to its update, including the global economic recovery, the future of health, next-gen technology and more.

Editors of each section will curate news and specialist insights, offering both depth and breadth on the issues that shape the future of our personal and professional lives.

The new sections are:

Future of Money explores the fintech landscape and how it is transforming the way goods and services are paid for around the world;

Future of Health covers developments, trends and data on the transformation of health care. The section examines pharmaceutical companies, health care providers, policymakers and the patient community;

Disrupted explores the innovations and industries re-modelling everyday life through technology as well as other technological advancements that societies can look forward to in the future; and

Macro Matters is the roadmap for the global economy, featuring what investors need to know on how the world is coming out of crisis. Macro Matters will include news, data and analysis on the people, policies and events that will reshape economies, markets and investments of the future.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
