Sarah Hilton has joined tech news site Rest of World as Asia editor covering Southeast Asia, Japan and the Koreas.
She will be based in Tokyo.
Recently, Hilton was an assistant editor on the award-winning Big Story desk at Nikkei Asia. Before that, she held the post of staff writer and translator.
She has also worked as a researcher and then as a staff writer and researcher at Nikkei. In addition, her work has appeared in Cell, Pediatrics and The Urban List.
Hilton is a graduate of University of Sydney.
