Resnick promoted to editor of Pensions & Investments

Executive editor Amy Resnick has been promoted to editor of Pensions & Investments, a Crain’s publication.

She had been executive editor for the past three years. She replaces Nancy Webman, who has become editorial director.

A veteran financial journalist, Resnick previously worked as Americas editor of IFR magazine, a Reuters publication that focuses on capital formation. Before that, she was editor in chief of The Bond Buyer for 10 years and worked there for a total of 15 years.

Resnick was a Knight Wallace Journalism Fellow at the University of Michigan. She has a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York and a bachelor’s degree in international relations and history from Tufts University in Medford, Mass.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
