Amy Resnick, who has been working at Reuters for the past 16 months, has been hired to be executive editor of Pensions & Investments, a Crain’s publication.
Resnick, the former editor in chief of Bond Buyer, had been hired in 2011 at Thomson Reuters to be editor of IFR Americas. IFR stands for International Financing Review. She left that job in April.
Before becoming Bond Buyer’s first female editor in 2000, Resnick worked as its managing editor, federal tax reporter, and as a regional reporter covering the fiscal crisis in the District of Columbia.
Before joining The Bond Buyer, she worked for the Fairfax Journal in Virginia. She has also covered state and local government political and financial issues for publications in New York and Massachusetts.
Resnick is a graduate of Tufts University and the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.
