The Society of American Business Editors and Writers will hold its annual conference in Denver on April 26 through April 28, and the program has a number of skills sessions for business journalists to help them advance their careers.
Those sessions include:

- “An Introduction to Flash Online Design Software” with Christine Birch, features design editor of the Rocky Mountain News;
- “Organizing Your Technology Using RSS Feeds and Other Time Savers” with Denver Post managing editor digital media Mark Cardwell;
- “Write Fast for Online” like the wire services by taking the Breaking News drill that Thomson Reuters training manager Greg McCune delivers to Reuters reporters;
- “Interviewing Like an FBI agent,” one of the most popular sessions ever at SABEW, brings in FBI agents to tell you how they elicit information without waterboarding.
