April Glaser has been hired by tech news site Recode to cover robots, drones and smart machines.
She will start on Sept. 19.
“I love reading Recode,” said Glaser in an email to Talking Biz News. “It’s essential for keeping up with the breakneck pace of tech news, which is why I’m thrilled to join the team as their new reporter covering robots and drones. I’m truly fascinated by my new beat.”
Glaser has been writing for Wired magazine under a fellowship.
She previously worked at the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Greenspace. She is on the board of a hackerspace in Oakland and used to run an art gallery in Philadelphia.
Glaser has also had bylines in Slate and Gizmodo. She is a Temple University graduate.
