Rebell starts personal finance podcast

Bobbi Rebell, the former business TV anchor at Reuters who also wrote a column on millennial personal finance, has launched a podcast called “Financial Grownup with Bobbi Rebell.”

New episodes will be released three times a week.

Each episode features a guest “financial grownup” who shares a unique money story that had a big impact on their life, along with the lesson from that time. They also bring money tips that listeners can put to work.

Afterwards Rebell shares her take on the themes in the interview and gives listeners specific advice and resources to make an impact on their life.

Early guests include “Shark Tank”’s Kevin O’Leary, author David Bach, “Today Show” financial editor Jean Chatzky, ABC News chief business, economics and technology correspondent Rebecca Jarvis and “So Money” podcast host Farnoosh Torabi.

She left Reuters one year ago. In the past year, she became a certified financial planner.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
