CNBC announced Tuesday that real-time quotes for stocks traded on the New York Stock Exchange will be available on CNBC.com and CNBC Mobile, beginning immediately.
The announcement comes after real-time quotes for stocks traded on the NASDAQ became available on CNBC.com and CNBC Mobile earlier this month.
The availability of real-time quotes gives the CNBC audience — whether on television, the Internet or mobile devices — free access to quotes from two of the largest exchanges worldwide.
“This service will enable any CNBC viewer or user the ability to make better investing decisions, no matter what platform they use or where they are in the world” said Scott Drake, vice president of CNBC Digital, in a statement.
