Reach biz editor Houghton departs

Tom Houghton

Tom Houghton, North West business editor for Reach plc publications, including the Liverpool Echo, Manchester Evening News, and BusinessLive, has left. Previously, he served as a business editor.

He was also a business reporter for Reach plc titles BusinessLive, the Liverpool Echo and Liverpool City Region Business Post. Before that, he was a local democracy reporter. Prior to joining Reach, Houghton was a senior multimedia journalist at WalesOnline.

He has also freelanced for Sky and worked for the Watford Observer and Buzz Magazine, both in the UK.

Houghton has a B.A. from UCL and a master’s degree from Cardiff University.
