Ratigan goes to MSNBC

Mike Reynolds of Multichannel News reports Wednesday that former CNBC “Fast Money” anchor Dylan Ratigan, who left last month, will begin appearing on sister network MSNBC.

Reynolds writes, “Ratigan will step in as a host of MSNBC’s 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. block, following Morning Joe,  to which he was a regular contributor. The format for Ratigan’s new show, which bows June 29, has yet to be announced.

“Ratigan, the host and co-creator of CNBC’s stock-selection show Fast Money, and a co-anchor of Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo, left the financial news network abruptly last month, after his contract expired.

“In addition to his MSNBC anchor role, Ratigan will also serve as a contributor to NBC News programs.
“‘MSNBC is on a terrific roll, and adding Dylan really bolsters our lineup of strong personalities,’ said MSNBC president Phil Griffin in a statement. ‘Dylan will be the perfect complement to Morning Joe and he rounds out a great team in the morning.'”
