MSNBC producer Tom Ranzweiler will join the 11 a.m. hour of MSNBC Live hosted by Craig Melvin.
He will transition into his new role over the next few weeks.
Ranzweiler initially signed onto MSNBC in 2016 as a producer on “Morning Joe.” In 2018, Ranzweiler joined David Gura’s team to help launch the weekend morning show “Up With David Gura.” He helped craft segments that took deep dives into the week’s top political stories and produced interviews on the trail with notable 2020 candidates.
Ranzweiler began his career as one of the original team members tasked to launch the U.S. arm of the international news organization Al Jazeera. Ranzweiler worked as a producer at Al Jazeera America on the network’s prime time programming led by anchor John Seigenthaler.
Ranzweiler graduated from Monmouth University in 2012.
