Phoebe Gavin, editorial director of growth at financial news site Quartz, has left the news organization.
Gavin is now focusing full-time on her coaching business.
She also has a book coming out next week called “The Workplace Guide to Time Management: Best Practices to Maximize Productivity.”
Gavin joined Quartz in May 2018 as a member of Quartz’s Growth team, which leads efforts to grow Quartz’s audience. She joined Quartz from ThinkProgress, where she was senior audience engagement editor. In that role, she developed a new digital distribution strategy and revolutionized the site’s Twitter presence — growing it by 120 percent in just a year.
