Cara Smith will be joining the Quad-City Times as a business reporter in June.
Currently, she is the copy chief at The Hawk, the independent student-run news organization at Saint Joseph’s University.
She has also worked as an assistant features editor, foreign correspondent and news editor at the paper. She was also a tutor at SJU Writing Center and a summer intern at the Women’s Opportunities Resource Center.
Smith was also a copy editor at The Opportunist, St. Joe’s Undergraduate Economics Society newsletter. She was also a summer intern and then a social media director at Passaic River Coalition.
Smith will be graduating this year with a bachelor’s degree in English and economics from Saint Joseph’s.
