The Puget Sound Business Journal announced Monday that editor in chief Rob Smith has left the company for personal family reasons.
A story on its website states, “Smith has been with the PSBJ for a little over two years after spending 10 years as editor of the Portland Business Journal, the PSBJ’s sister publication within the American City Business Journal chain. Before that, he was the managing editor of the PSBJ.
“‘Rob’s contributions to ACBJ over the past 18 years have been impressive,’ said PSBJ Publisher Emory Thomas. ‘His leadership and commitment to the highest journalistic standards will have a lasting impact. His energy and dedication will be missed.’
“The PSBJ is already in the process of seeking a replacement, Thomas said, and will name a new editor in chief very soon.”
