Publishing editor Jerde departs Adweek
Sara Jerde, a publishing editor at Adweek, has left the publication.
“The people make a newsroom and it was a privilege to work alongside such talent,” she wrote on Twitter.
She had been in that role for the past year. She had also been reporting on the business of news organizations, while taking on some editing duties, including the publication’s 2020 coverage.
Adweek covers publishers, traditional and digital media and their intersection with advertising for the trade publication’s magazine and website.
Jerde has been with Adweek for about two and a half years.
Prior to her employment there, she worked at NJ Advance Media as a reporter, as a writer for Talking Points Memo and Ohio Today and as a managing editor at The Post Athens.
Jerde has an associate’s degree in social sciences and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ohio University.
